Bellamy Young, born Amy Maria Young on the 19th of February, 1970, [1]) is an American actor, director, and performer best recognized for her role as Melody "Mellie", Grant the character in ABC's drama Scandal (2012)-2018. She won her 2014 Critics'' Choice Television award for the most outstanding supporting actress in an action series. She also starred in the Fox show Prodigal Son (2019-2021). Young began her acting career as an actor in the theatre. Her Broadway debut came in 1997 as Mary The Life. The Life.
