Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style swiftly brought her to the top of the charts when she drew the attention of people in the year 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to compose catchy, but emotional songs put her at the forefront for contemporary mainstream music along with the art and indie pop scene. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed the singer and began preparations to release her debut album.
