She had to put many songs on hold prior to signing with the 'Capitol Record. The singer was now an accomplished singer and she hasn't looked back ever since. Her next album, "Teenage Dreams', was loved by music enthusiasts and was among the top-selling albums of all time. It was the source of many records and cemented Katy Perry's place as a prominent artist. Perry's philanthropic efforts are not solely attributed to her role as a artist and songwriter however, she is also known for her numerous records that she's produced. Perry is an LGBT rights activist.
