Sharp is a Rochester native, who was educated in clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. She also played piano and cello. Sharp's passion for theatre in high school brought her to Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp decided to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp was a part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. In addition to her work both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. The singer is also developing her first album for studio work. If she's not in front of cameras, or working in a studio to record songs, Sharp has a love for fitness and stays in shape boxing and studying Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well as well as long, arduous journeys. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
